According to the police, several other people were injured. Numerous buildings were damaged in the entire storm area, as well as the wind forest fires. The national weather service published tornado and storm warnings for areas in the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and Texas.

Due to the violent winds, even trucks were overturned.

Fires and snow storms

Extreme weather conditions should probably hit an area with more than 100 million inhabitants. From the Canadian border to Texas, wind gusts were predicted at speeds of up to 130 kilometers per hour. Snowstorms threatened in the northern areas.

The storms are taking numerous fires.
