Curious: A German also wins the top scorer crown

A gambling company is also causing a stir with a humorous clip. It shows Scots presenting Spanish culture as their own – dressed as toreros, preparing tapas or drinking a glass of sangria. One of the men is confronted with the fact that he only wants to prevent England from winning. He replies: “Ay Caramba, don't talk rubbish.” At the end of the clip, the men get Spain in the mood for the final. “Vamos la Roja,” they say – and: “Viva Espana.”

Spain or England – who will be European champions? The outcome of this final in Berlin will be decided by several exciting duels. But will Harry Kane even play or will super sub Ollie Watkins, who shot the “Three Lions” into the final, be allowed to start? And will national coach Gareth Southgate put Kieran Trippier back on the bench now that Luke Shaw is fully fit?

According to a report in the English “Telegraph”, Southgate is not making any changes to his starting eleven, relying on the stars who have also started regularly recently. This means that Trippier would be preferred to Shaw, Kane would start instead of Watkins and Cole Palmer would also have to watch from the bench for the time being.

“Everyone is fit, which is great, but not unusual for a final,” said Southgate before the game. England's controversial national coach is therefore spoilt for choice – and will probably refrain from any surprises for the time being.

Expected lineup:
Pickford – Walker, Stones, Guehi – Saka, Mainoo, Rice, Trippier – Foden, Bellingham – Kane
