Vincent Kompany wins first game

Although some Bayern stars are still on vacation, coach Vincent Kompany played his first friendly match. There was a clear victory against Rottach-Egern.

FC Bayern won its friendly against FC Rottach-Egern on Wednesday evening with a clear 14:1 victory. This meant that Vincent Kompany not only celebrated a successful debut as coach, but Leon Goretzka's team also ended their training camp at Tegernsee with a successful result.

It took 23 minutes for young professional Adin Licina to save the German record champions. After that, the team played into a frenzy. Mathys Tel, Noussair Mazraoui and Raphaël Guerreiro also contributed at least one goal to make it 7-1 at half-time. Arijon Ibrahimović, Mudaser Sadat, Nestory Irankunda, Sacha Boey, Jonathan Asp Jensen and Noel Aséko Nkili were on the scoresheet after the restart. Tobias Schlichtner scored the celebrated 1-4 for the underdogs.

Kompany was available to answer questions and speak after the final whistle. He was enthusiastic about the atmosphere and is now focusing on the upcoming trip to Asia. “I hope we can get everyone fit again,” said the satisfied Bayern coach.

90th minute: Now it's over at Tegernsee. Although it took over 20 minutes before the German record champions were able to celebrate for the first time, Kompany's team showed patience in the build-up and aggressive in the counterattack. Rottach-Egern had no real chance for over 90 minutes, but threw everything into the tackles and attempts to score.

88th minute: Bayern continue to dominate the game. But the chances are now getting fewer, Rottach-Egern is throwing everything into it.

83rd minute: The game is slowly coming to an end. Kompany is still running up and down the sidelines and coaching his team.

79th minute: Just a few seconds later, Nkili can also celebrate, staying cool in front of the goalkeeper and casually pushing the ball into the left corner. Bayern are now leading 14:1.

78th minute: Bayern's Jensen runs into the center and is served from the right. The young professional joins the list of goalscorers.

77th minute: Now it's over for Weiß. The goalkeeper, who made some outstanding saves, is substituted.

75th minute: Bayern keep showing nice changes of sides and don't let the blocked box unsettle them. New signing Ito in particular is always available to pass to and distributes the ball outwards.

70th minute: Kompany takes Manuba out of the game. Scott now plays in his place.

69th minute: After a pass from Irankunda, Sadat puts the ball in front of him again and passes it past Weiß. The new score: 12:1.

66th minute: Boey increases Bayern's lead to 11:1. The Frenchman plucked up his courage and broke through on the right. His shot was slightly deflected and Weiß was unable to hold onto the ball properly. He then hit the ball behind the line.

63rd minute: Rottach-Egern hardly has time to breathe. Bayern are standing high, attacking aggressively after losing the ball and repeatedly approaching the sixteen-yard box.
