Ukraine and Russia report mutual drone attacks. At least three people are said to have been killed. The designated Foreign Minister WadePhul wants to send signals to Moscow and Washington.

A twelve -year -old girl in the central region of Dnipropetrowsk was killed in a Russian drone attack at night. The child's parents were injured, as the Ukrainian emergency services announced. A child was saved from the rubble.

According to Ukraine, a total of 100 Russian drones attacked the country, 37 were shot down. The attacks in the Kharkiw, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Kiev regions caused damage, the Air Force said. According to the authorities, a woman was injured in Kyiv.

Attacks also in Russian territory – two deaths

According to Russia, according to its own statements, many Ukrainian attacks defended that a total of 91 drones were shot down during the night. 40 drones over the Tersk region alone, as the Ministry of Defense announced. Two dead civilians and three injuries were reported from the Belgorod region. A drone hit a car, the governor said.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, two drones were intercepted above the Moscow region, others above the central region of Orjol and above the criminal peninsula and the Black Sea. The ministry did not say whether there was any damage.

Wadephul confirmed Ukraine support

The designated Federal Foreign Minister Johann WadePhul (CDU) meanwhile confirmed solidarity with Ukraine. It must be “for everyone on stage, especially for Vladimir Putin, that we will be at the side of Ukraine,” said WadePhul of the German Welle. “We will support Ukraine and offer Ukraine the opportunity to be at eye level with Russia,” he said.

WadePhul also dealt with the new US policy under Trump: “We want to make the Trump administration clear that it is in its very own interest to have a strong Ukraine in the European Community,” he said. Germany will go into the management position in NATO, Europe has to “contribute more to defense than before”. However, the United States would also have to recognize these efforts.
