Trump apparently fires inspectors from federal authorities

According to media reports, US President Trump is said to have released controls of several federal authorities. In addition, another of its election promises are implemented – gender -neutral passports are no longer exhibited.

According to US media, US President Donald Trump has released high-ranking inspectors of several federal authorities. They are responsible for uncovering fraud and abuse in the government.

As the Washington Post reported, the inspectors were notified by email about their termination without notice. According to reports, there was initially talk of at least twelve general inspectors. The Democrats described the measure as a “night cleaning campaign”.

Diautens could violate federal law

US presidents usually have the right to release these so-called general inspectors. However, you must justify this in writing and present the congress. In this case, the layoffs could violate federal law, since the congress must be informed about it 30 days in advance.

After his swearing -in, Trump immediately started turning on the state apparatus. The Republican wants to expand his options with several orders, to fill up with people who are loyal. Many employees in ministries and authorities were cold or released.

No gender neutral Ride passes more

Trump now implemented another of his election promises. Due to a decree by the Republican, the United States no longer exhibits gender -neutral passports. According to a ministry spokesman, the Foreign Ministry will no longer issue US passes with the “X” option when specifying the sex.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the processing of all passport applications of people who are not assigned to any of the two genders was suspended. Specifications for dealing with passes already issued with the gender information “X” are to be published shortly.

The first US passport with the gender-neutral statement “X” was exhibited in October 2021 during the presidency of Trump's predecessor Joe Biden. The US State Department has not published any figures on how often such a pass has been applied for or has been issued.

Trump goes against Diversity programs before

Trump was pulled to the field in the election campaign against the “transgender madness” and had announced that he ended it in office on the first day. Immediately after taking office, he also ended the federal authorities programs to promote diversity. On Friday, his government ordered the employees to be released in the diversity programs.

Trump had repeatedly referred to the programs as tax reliefs and, among other things, argued that they would primarily discriminate against white men.

In the run-up to the takeover by Trump, numerous US companies had already returned their measures for diversity, including McDonald's, Meta, Disney and Walmart.
