Musk defends procedure in US authorities

US President Trump wants to convert the state apparatus together with Elon Musk. Its committee Doge combs through US authorities after waste of money, although it is not legitimate. This encounters criticism and complaints.

The tech billionaire Elon Musk defended his approach to searching through US authorities against criticism. Standing in the Oval Office next to US President Donald Trump, Musk said that the approach of his “Department of Government Efficiency” (Doge) was transparent and understandable.

All activities would therefore be published on Musk's platform X and on the Doge website. “All of our actions are maximum transparent,” said Musk. He speaks with Trump every day, any procedure is done at the behest of the President.

Musk: without Household cuts threatens bankrupt

The United States has a “deficit of two trillion dollars,” said Musk. Without budget cuts, the country will “head to bankrupt” in view of this deficit. Washington has no choice but to lower the federal expenditure, said Musk. “It is essential.”

According to the US government, Doge should uncover money waste and corruption in the US authorities. It has no order from the US Congress. According to Trump's information, billions of bills of money waste and corruption have already been noticed. Too many civil servants stroked too high sums at the expense of taxpayers, said the US President.

Court of Appeal Blocks Trump's expenditure stop

Several Minister of Justice of the states and unions have triggered a wave of lawsuits against the actions. The first dishes stopped parts of the thinning with interim dispositions.

The freezing of the authorities' expenses was also lifted. Most recently, Trump's appeal against the judgment of a federal judge in the state of Rhode Iceland was rejected by an appellate court in Boston. The government must therefore release all frozen expenses until the matter is finally decided.

Reports: US government dismisses USAIDGeneral inspector

Musk's procedure has already led to a partial closure of the development agency USAID. The authority is to be reduced drastically and has been under the leadership of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for a few days. According to a report by the AP news agency and the television station CNN, USAID general inspector Paul Martin has already been released without a reason for the Trump government.

In addition, Musk organized a huge exemption program in which government officials can voluntarily give up their jobs for a golden handshake. Critics fear that Trump would like to get rid of illoyal government officials at all management levels in this way. They are to be replaced by loyalists. In this way, the president wants to regain power over the authorities.

Trump's environment, including Musk, defends this strategy with the fact that the majority of the US citizens chose him to bring about changes in the administrative apparatus with vehemence.
