Macron warns of resettlement plans for Gaza

After the end of the ceasefire, the Israeli army moves again in the Gaza Strip. French President Macron warned against relocating people. Israel must end the blockade of the coastal strip.

France's President Emmanuel Macron has warned against relocating the population of the Gaza Strip under compulsion and having the area occupied by Israel. “This would be a violation of international law and would threaten the security of the entire region, including Israel's security,” said Macron after a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo.

Israel wants to cut gaza strips

At the end of March, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel was working on the implementation of the plan of US President Donald Trump to relocate the population of Gaza Strip to other countries.

Shortly afterwards, the army expanded the use in Gaza and ordered the evacuation of other areas. In addition, the army wants to create a new security corridor across the coastal area, which is supposed to run between the cities of Rafah and Chan Yunis.

In early February, Trump had made the suggestion to move around two million Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip in neighboring countries such as Egypt and Jordan and then turned the largely destroyed coastal strip into a “Riviera of the Middle East”.

Macron: Hamas may not play a role in the future

Egypt and the Arab league presented an alternative plan in response. This provides for a reconstruction of the coastal area without displacement. The Palestinian Authority should gradually take control.

Macron confirmed when visiting Cairo, supporting this plan. The “Hamas should not play a role there in the future,” he emphasized with a view to the terrorist organization. This may be “not a threat to Israel” in the future.

Advice with Jordan's king set

Macron and al-Sisi want to advise on the situation in the Gaza Strip during a three-energy with the Jordanian king Abdullah II. Both Jordan and Egypt are allies of the West and repeatedly demanded a ceasefire for Gaza.

Macron joined this demand. The President also demanded that the Israeli blockade of aid deliveries for people in the coastal area demanded that the Israeli blockade were canceled.

Waffenruhe ended in mid -March

Since mid-January, a ceasefire with the militant Islamist Hamas has been met in the Gaza Strip. Israel ended this last month and interrupted the import of food, fuel and other relief goods for the two million Palestinians in the area.

Since March, Israel has again attacked Hamas and carries out soil operations in the Palestinian area. This is intended to put Hamas under pressure to accept new conditions for the ceasefire agreement. In Gaza, Israeli hostages are also recorded.

Israel is said to have attacked tent camp in front of clinics

The big hospitals are always targeted by Israel. Units stormed clinics several times and searched them. Israel accuses Hamas of using medical facilities for military purposes.

Several people who camped in tents in front of the Nasser Hospital in Chan Yunis and the Al-Aqsa Märyrer Hospital in the center of Deir al-Balah are said to have died last night.

At least two people were killed, including a Palestinian reporter, said doctors of the Nasser Hospital. The Israeli military said that the goal of the attack was an extremist of the militant Islamist Hamas, who had also been hit.

According to the Al-Aqsa Märyrer Hospital, three people were injured. After several attacks, 13 more bodies were brought at night. There are four children among the dead.

Federal government Requests Enlightenment

Internationally, Israel continued to come under pressure due to an incident on March 23. Germany sees the government in Tel Aviv as a duty to clarify a fatal attack on rescue workers in the Gaza Strip. The reason for this is a recording that should show the attack.

A spokesman for the Federal Foreign Office said the video raised “serious questions” on the approach of the Israeli army. Israel must now ensure that the incident is “urgently informed”. The Israeli government will have to be measured by this.

It is certain that Israeli soldiers have fired several rescue vehicles from the red crescent moon in the Gaza Strip. 15 medical and humanitarian helpers were killed, their corpses were found in Rafah eight days later, the red crescent moon had announced at the end of March.

Israel's army said her soldiers shot “terrorists” who would have approached them in “suspicious vehicles” without light. On Saturday, the red crescent moon released cell phone recordings from one of the helpers who are supposed to refute this representation. So it can be seen in the video that the ambulances, the headlights and blue lights had turned on when the shots fell.
