The new chairman of the US Democrats is called Ken Martin. The party chose him on Saturday. Martin Jaime Harrison replaces Harrison at the head of the Democrats. So far, Martin has been party leader in the state of Minnesota.
According to his own statements, the 51-year-old has set himself the task of folding the Republican US President Donald Trump into account that his own party and for working families. “Donald Trump and his allied allies are warned: We will hold them accountable for the rip -off of working families, and we will beat them at the ballot box,” said Martin, according to a message in his acceptance speech.
The Democrats are “the party of working people”. It was “time to roll up the sleeves and to defeat the opponents everywhere, at every choice and at any level of government,” it said.
Martin is a long -term party member
Martin is considered a progressive activist, but has so far been relatively unknown outside of his party. According to the will of the party leadership, he is intended to develop a national slaughter plan to give the party new momentum after their defeat in the presidential election in November.
Martin is a long -term member of the Democrats. He was already involved in the election campaign for the later President Bill Clinton and his Vice Al Gore in 1992. He later organized the election campaign in Minnesota for the inferior democratic candidates Gore (2000) and John Kerry (2004).
