Dominique Pelicot is already convicted of severe rape of his ex -wife Gisèle – now his daughter has also reported him. She accuses him of being stunned and sexually abused her like her mother.
The daughter of the main perpetrator in the rape process of Avignon has reported her father Dominique Pelicot. Caroline Darian accuses him of repeatedly stunning and sexually abused her in a period of ten years.
According to Darian's information, the advertisement was given to the public prosecutor's office in Versailles. Her lawsuit should also be a “message to all victims”, “that we should never give up,” said the 46-year-old of the AFP news agency.
At the end of December, Dominique Pelicot was sentenced to 20 years in prison after a sensational process for severe rape. The pensioner had stunned, abused and abused and raped by dozens of strangers for almost ten years. 50 co -accused men condemned the court between three and 15 years.
Photos in foreign underwear
Caroline Darian had already been convinced in her statement in the process that, like her mother, she was stunned and abused by Dominique Pelicot. The investigators had found photos that show them in strange underwear and apparently sleeping, but no explicit evidence of their abuse.
The pensioner had vehemently denied this in court. However, the court condemned him with regard to the photos for violating the intimate sphere by shots with a sexual character.
“Yes, he contested it, but he lied several times in the two and a half years of investigation and invented several versions of the story,” said Darian about her lawsuit. The process showed that her father never “says the full truth about the acts he committed”.
Appeal planned
Dominique Pelicot accepted the judgment in December. Since a large number of the co -accused appeal made, an appeal process is planned in the last quarter of the year in Nîmes in southern French.
Avignon's process had been considered worldwide. Gisèle Pelicot became a symbol of the fight against sexual violence against women and against silence.
