The US environmental authority EPA wants to turn back dozens of regulations for the protection of nature and climate that come from previous US governments. Among other things, higher greenhouse gas emissions for power plants, more exhaust gases in cars and trucks and larger funding volumes for oil and gas companies are to be allowed again, as the head of the authorities Lee Zeldin announced. This judgment from Barack Obama's term of office was repeatedly used as a legal justification for environmental regulations in the United States.
Environmentalists: Courts will clarify it
However, environmentalists argue that the non-observance cannot be prescribed so easily and that the planned EPA changes of dishes could be collected. This also applies to some other of the announced changes.
